TIMOTHY EVAN JOHN
visual artist - painter - sculptor - printmaker - creator
When I am asked about the diversity of my creative output, this quote always comes to mind.
"It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much,
and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done.” ― Vincent Van Gogh

LAUREN BACALL - ESTATE SALE
Back in 1986 the wonderful Miss Lauren Bacall was in my hometown of Adelaide, South Australia to perform in "Sweet Bird of Youth" and during her down time, she visited my representative gallery. As a result of this visit, she purchased 4 of my works, for her personal collection, I cannot tell you what a thrill it was as a 28 year old to be selected by such a Hollywood Icon.
The sad passing of Miss Bacall in 2014, resulted in 2 of my works being sold in her vast estate sale. The wheel continues to turn.
